A 5-module primer on oracles and RedStone's modular design, modes, data flow, and security—5–10 minutes total.

Module 4 of 5

Security & economics: RED token + restaking AVS

Restaking for stronger guarantees

RedStone runs an Actively Validated Service (AVS) that moves heavy validation off-chain and verifies an aggregated (BLS) signature on-chain. Built on Othentic, this keeps gas low while scaling the number of oracle nodes and preserving security.

RED token utility (high level)

• Max supply: 1,000,000,000 RED (ERC-20 on Ethereum).

• Distribution buckets include Community & Genesis, Ecosystem & Data Providers, Core Contributors, Protocol Development, Binance Launchpool, and Early Backers.

This aligns incentives across data providers, operators, and users.

Staking & rewards

Data providers and token holders can stake via RedStone's AVS, with rewards paid by data users in widely used assets (e.g., ETH, BTC, SOL, USDC)—tying revenue to real oracle usage. (FYI, docs flag standard disclaimers; this is informational, not financial advice.)

💡 Visual idea: "Security flywheel" diagram—Usage → Fees → AVS/RED staking → Security → More usage.
